 The most distinctive feature are the two scimitar or sickle-shaped horns. 
 These virtually ridgeless, thin horns curve up and over the back, growing 3 to 4 feet in length.  The coat is white with the neck and chest a bright russet.  Males can weigh up to 480 lbs.
BLACKBUCK ANTELOPE

 One of the fastest animals on earth, it can out run any animal over long distances.  Adult males stand about 32” at the shoulder and weigh 71 to 95 lbs. 
 Upper body parts are black; under parts and a ring around the eyes are white.  The horns corkscrew up and back.  Truly elegant.
SIKA DEER

 A small to medium sized deer.  Coloration may be mottled with numerous white spots.  Sikas are compact with a short, trim, wedge-shaped head. 
 Their antlers have 3-4 points branching from a main beam.  A distinctive, white rump patch is evident, especially when the animal is alerted.  Weighs up to 280 lbs.

 The Eland is the world’s largest antelope.  Males have twisted horns, which are thick and tightly spiraled, growing up to 50”. 
 Elands stand about 70” at the shoulder and weigh 1300—1500 lbs.

Florida Whitetail’s average height is 28 to 31 inches at the shoulder and weigh between 75 and 125 lbs.  White tailed deer have good eyesight and hearing, but depend mainly on their sense of smell to detect danger.
  Males have antlers, which are shed from January to March.  The antlers grow out again in April or May and lose their velvet in August or September.
